The AUDS 5.8GHz Band Inhibitor module provides directional inhibition capability over the 5.8GHz ISM and WiFi bands.  AUDS has been designed to disrupt and neutralise Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) engaged in Hostile Airborne Surveillance and potentially Malicious Activity.

General Description


The Anti-UAV Defence System, AUDS, has been designed to disrupt the RF control of UAVs that are being used for hostile airborne surveillance or malicious activities. Typical applications are for static military, paramilitary or infrastructure protection. The system may be used in remote or urban areas to prevent UAVs being used for terrorist attacks, espionage or other malicious activities against sites with critical infrastructure.

AUDS is a self contained inhibitor system that combines RF power electronics with high gain antenna systems which can be mounted on a suitable pan and tilt platform.

The baseline AUDS inhibitor includes inhibition capability over four independent RF bands.  The functionality of the system can be expanded with additional modules via a common system interface.  The 5.8GHz Band Directional Inhibitor expands the system capability to include the 5.8GHz WiFi and ISM bands.

When integrated with the AUDS system the additional module is controlled via a single system control interface and can also be independently controlled and monitored.
