Fremont, CA – A new project for the Republic of Cameroon’s Agence de Regulation des Telecommunications (ART) is now underway at TCI in preparation for shipment in the first quarter of 2014.
Awarded on July 22, 2013, the contract includes three VHF/UHF/SHF fixed monitoring and direction finding stations to be installed in the region of Douala. These will be TCI Model 735 systems with 647 antennas covering 20 MHz to 8 GHz. TCI also will provide equipment for the control and administrative centers in Douala and Yaoundé, as well as site installation, training, spare parts and other support. This project is projected to be Phase One of a larger, multi-phase effort.
