Ground Data Systems
The Evenlode Ground Data System (GDS) is part of the Evenlode Series.
The Evenlode GDS is a modular system that comprises of multiple Ground Data Terminals (GDT) and complimentary Network Voting System and Network Video Quality Voting Sytems. The GDT is based on a half width 19” rack system that provides ground based equipment from test transmitters and receivers through to long range bidirectional tracking antenna fixed base stations.
The Evenlode GDS provides a suite of antenna options ranging from low profile omnidirectional antennas to tracking antennas that can achieve ranges in excess of 200 nautical miles.

Provides decoding and monitoring
The Evenlode Ground Data Terminal provides decoding and monitoring of all signals contained within an ECS COFDM Evenlode downlink.
A Range of Options
The downlink may consist of up to two high definition video channels, two audio channels, GPS position of the Air Data Terminal, telemetry data and, bidirectional Internet Protocol (IP) Data.
Transmits data in IP and serial format
The Ground Data Terminal may be used to transmit data in IP and serial formats to the Air Data Terminal.
High Range of Frequencies
Frequencies between 1.2 and 6.5 GHz; isolation between uplink and downlink frequency sets.
High Gain Performance
GPS information from the aircraft transmitter is fed to the Antenna Control Unit (ACU) to select the link-facing sector within each Multi Sector Antenna (MSA). This provides high gain performance with an excellent range.
Products
The Evenlode Video/Audio Decoder Module is a lightweight, low power unit ruggedised for installation on to an air platform.
The Handyview is compatible with all ECS video link equipment providing short-term and instantaneous monitoring of Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (COFDM) signals.
