The Model 640H monitoring antenna provides TCI’s 700-series spectrum monitoring systems vertical polarisation coverage from 20 MHz to 6 GHz, and horizontal polarisation coverage from 20 MHz to 3 GHz. (The 640H utilises integrated antenna elements to provide broadband coverage.) Reception of vertically-polarised signals between 200 MHz and 6 GHz is provided by a bicone antenna element; and a shunt-fed antenna element provides coverage from 20 MHz to 200 MHz. Reception of horizontally-polarised signals between 500 MHz and 3 GHz is provided by a slot antenna element. A loop antenna element provides coverage from 20 MHz to 500 MHz. Switching between antenna elements is performed automatically by TCI’s 700-series spectrum monitoring systems based on the frequency being scanned.

The Model 640-8 monitoring antenna provides TCI’s 700-series spectrum monitoring systems vertical polarisation coverage from 3 GHz to 8.5 GHz. Reception of vertically-polarised signals between 3 GHz and 8.5 GHz is provided by a monocone antenna element.

The TCI Model 640 monitoring antenna covers an extremely wide range of frequencies, from 20 MHz to 8.5 GHz. The 640 uses passive broadband elements, thereby eliminating the need to provide power and control circuitry The Model 640 covers the 200 to 8,500 MHz range using a pair of spun aluminum disc-cones. A second shunt-fed antenna mounted to the support pole provides best sensitivity from 20 MHz to 200 MHz. The combination of both antenna elements provides monitoring of vertically-polarised signals across the entire frequency range. The antenna assembly installs on to a building or tower structure via a standard 2” pipe mount.

The TCI Model 640-DSC VHF/UHF antenna is designed for monitoring-only spectrum applications where direction finding is not required. The antenna provides a uniform pattern across the entire monitoring frequency band between 20 and 3000 MHz. The antenna is made of proven materials to ensure long-term operations in harsh environments.

The 649-8 features a high band nine-element DF array, a low band five-element DF array plus a single omnidirectional monitoring antenna. Its high band DF array consists of nine vertically polarised fan elements that are housed in a low-loss radome. The radome also includes a broadband conical monitoring antenna and a broadband RF switch. In SMS or COMINT DF systems, the RF switch commutates signals from the DF elements to an external multi-channel DF/Monitoring receiver.

The 647 utilises two DF arrays and a biconical omnidirectional monitoring / reference antenna. The DF arrays consist of nine fan elements housed in a low-loss radome. The radome encloses a broadband RF switch which commutates signals from the DF elements to an external multi-channel DF/Monitoring receiver and generates test signals for DF calibration and automatic system self-test.
