Rosette Steerable LPA

  • Steerable LPA Rosette
  • 2 – 30 MHz coverage
  • No ground screen needed for impedance matching

Product Description

The Model 504 family of rosette dipole log-periodic antennas is designed to provide high gain, high front- to-back ratio, steerable performance in a compact area. The 504 finds wide application for ground-air and shore-ship circuits, where the other end of the path is mobile, and good long-distance coverage and gain are needed.

Each curtain of the 504 acts independently—in effect, simultaneously forming four independent beams, 120° wide. Further independence and flexibility are provided by using transmitting or receiving multi couplers, allowing several operators to use any one beam simultaneously.

Product Description

The Model 545T transportable dual take-off angle antenna provides the features most desired in a tactical antenna required to communicate over any range at any azimuth. To achieve this performance, the Model 545T, and its fixed counterpart the 545F, are omnidirectional, and radiation is vertically steerable. They generate independent low and high beams, optimising gain for any communications distance.

The 545 is a four-arm spiral antenna that can be excited in two orthogonal modes, each of which is horizontally polarised and essentially omni-azimuthal at all elevation angles.

Product Description

Electrically small antennas can be used to advantage in a wide range of receiving applications. The inefficiencies inherent in small antennas have the same effect as other sources of noise on the signal-to-noise ratio. When external noise is greater than the noise from antenna inefficiency (and internal electronics, if present), an antenna is said to be “externally noise limited.” In this case, the higher level of external noise dominates the system signal-to-noise ratio, rendering the internal noise insignificant. Thus, when external noise is relatively high, small receiving antennas can work as well as full-size, fully efficient antennas. This also means that fully efficient antennas need to be located at electrically quiet sites to achieve their full potential.

A loop antenna functions as a magnetic dipole. An incident electromagnetic wave induces a current in the loop; a matching transformer inside the loop couples the induced current into a 50Q load, either an amplifier or a length of coax running to the receiver.

Log-Periodic Antenna

Product Description

Log-periodic antennas are used extensively for high frequency communications circuits because of their wide frequency bandwidth and compact size. In applications where a single antenna is required, TCI normally supplies horizontally polarised log-periodic antennas supported by a single-tower support structure.

However, there are many applications where a horizontally polarized log-periodic antenna supported by two tower structures is beneficial. When the co-location of several antennas is required, a smaller, compact array can be formed by horizontal antennas sharing common towers. The Model 548 is designed specifically for applications of this nature.

Product Description

Claw is an RF inhibitor system that combines RF power electronics with a high gain Quintuple-Band antenna system
designed to be mounted on suitable pan & tilt platforms. The inhibitor comprises two RF units covering the GNSS, 433 MHz, 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM and Wi-Fi frequencies with RF output powers to the antennas of up to 40 W. The antennas have a nominal gain of 15-17 dBiC producing an EIRP of over 300 W each for the 433 MHz and 915 MHz bands, over 1250 W for the 2.4 GHz band and 500 W for the 5.8 GHz band.

Each RF band can be individually controlled via the single control interface provided and Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) can support the development of custom RF inhibition solutions to defeat the operation of a range of UAVs.
Claw has been designed to defeat the RF datalinks of UAVs that are weaponised or that are being used for hostile airborne
surveillance or other malicious activities. Claw can be integrated with detection, tracking and identification systems to
provide the directional RF defeat capability to any Counter UAS platform in the Military or Critical infrastructure environment.

Product Description

The Claw Directional Inhibitor is a self-contained inhibitor system that combines the (RF) power with a high gain multi-band directional antenna system.

The Claw Inhibitor comprises of dual mast-mount units covering the 433 MHz, GNSS, 915 MHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM frequency bands with RF output powers to the antennas of up to 83 W. With an aggregated RF output power to the antennas of up to 150 W. The Claw system disrupts the control, navigation and telemetry links used by UAS and can be customised for end-user requirements. Claw is a secure fully self-contained, compact system with no external signal processing or Power Amplification modules required, which insulates the solution from third-party interference and aids integration into multiple sensor systems.

Claw’s unparalleled record for long range drone defeat is in part because it is powered by an ECS designed SDR, ensuring real time, reactive and targeted power allocation within 400 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range providing intelligent RF Inhibition ensuring spectral cleanliness limiting collateral damage. The Claw targeted power comes courtesy of the quintuple band antenna system, developing up to 2350W of directed energy to defeat UAV RF Data Links. The high-gain, narrow beamwidth, 400 MHz – 6 GHz antennas maximise the power density at the target threat device whilst minimising disruption of co-located weapon and communications systems.

Interoperability is one of the major successes of the Claw RF Inhibitor’s sensor agnostic modular design. It could not be easier for an integrator looking for a layered approach, to seamlessly harmonise with third party multisensory C2 drone detection and kinetic systems, to provide ultimate operational flexibility. Proven to be robust and reliable through operational deployments, Claw benefits from multiple mounting positions, allowing it to be integrated onto fixed and manned or robotic mobile platforms. So, whether the requirement is to permanently protect CNI, repel incursion across borders, or defense of VVIPs on a platform of your choice, Claw is the ideal choice for your RF defeat solution. Because the system is a fully ECS design, minor modifications can easily be made and reworked in our mechanical workshop, if required. Selected and used worldwide, Claw delivers a world class RF Inhibition Capability for C-UAS.
